HOW DO WE RESERVE STEVE AS OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?
We are available for a limited number of weddings each year. When you feel ready, contact us by telephone or email so that we can setup a time to meet to discuss the details of your wedding. Meeting before you decide is a great way to learn more about us and to determine if we are a good fit for your wedding. Once you decide, we ask for a $250 deposit and a signed wedding agreement to hold your date.

DO YOU WORK ALONE OR BRING AN ASSISTANT?
Steve brings an assistant to every wedding to help setup lighting equipment, carry gear and generally provide logistical support. This allows Steve to focus his attention on his clients and the photography. WHAT KIND OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We use high resolution Canon digital SLR cameras and professional grade lenses to ensure the highest quality photographs possible. DO YOU HAVE BACK-UP EQUIPMENT?
Yes, we always bring extra equipment. HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU TAKE?

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO SEE THE WEDDING PROOFS?
Typically proofs will be available for you to view online four to six weeks following the wedding. Sweetheart Albums are usually delivered within five to eight weeks. We work hard to get the images to our clients as soon as possible. HOW DOES ONLINE PROOFING WORK?
We offer secure (password protected) online proofing. The bride and groom are given a unique password that grants them access to the electronic proofs. Secure online proofing is a quick and easy way to share your wedding photographs with friends and family. Check out our online proofing gallery showcasing a recent wedding. A beautiful Sweetheart Wedding Album is included with each of our wedding packages. Our albums are available in three classic sizes (8″ 10″ 12″) and seven gorgeous colors. Albums are wrapped with 100% full-grain, natural leathers with a binding that lies completely flat making it a cinch to show off your stunning images. Images are printed edge-to-edge on Fuji Crystal Archival 2mm thick pages. Colors include: Classic Black, Lustrous Brown, Urban Blue, Enchanting Green, Vibrant Red, Pretty in Pink and Delicate White. HOW DO YOU CHOOSE WHICH IMAGES ARE PRINTED IN THE SWEETHEART ALBUM?
We select the best images from the entire day to include in the Sweetheart Album and create a set of album spreads for our clients to review. We look at facial expressions, lighting and overall composition to determine which images are included in the final Sweetheart Album. After our clients review the album proofs, we make any necessary changes and send it back for a final review before printing and binding. CAN I GET BLACK AND WHITE VERSIONS OF THE IMAGES I LIKE?

HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU NEED TO SHOOT FORMAL PORTRAITS?
Time is always compressed at weddings so if you budget an hour it often works out to a half hour or less. We recommend trying to schedule at least 45-minutes for bride and groom portraits and 45-minutes for group portraits. Remember that more time is always better. DO YOU PREFER TO TAKE FORMAL PHOTOGRAPHS BEFORE OR AFTER THE CEREMONY?
We prefer to take as many of the formal portraits before the wedding as possible. After the ceremony the bride and groom are usually very busy meeting with family and guests (not to mention exhausted!). Of course every wedding is different and we are more than happy to take formal portraits before and/or after the ceremony. DO YOU EVER PHOTOGRAPH ENGAGEMENT OR WEDDING PORTRAITS IN YOUR STUDIO?

ARE THERE ANY TRAVEL FEES?
Generally, we are happy to drive within 60-miles of Seattle for no additional charge. Definitely consider contacting us if your wedding is farther away – we are usually pretty flexible. DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Absolutely! If fact, we give significant discounts off our regular package pricing for clients who have a destination wedding. Our rate will include economy airfare, lodging and a rental car (if necessary). Please contact us for more details. I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS!
