Hello! My name is Steve Paxton. I am absolutely passionate about making close connections with people and I love the beauty and magic of weddings! I view every wedding as a unique challenge and opportunity to create special images that will endure the test of time. When I am not busy photographing weddings, I love creating one-of-a-kind portraits for high school seniors and families. I have been a photographer in the Seattle area for over 15 years and enjoy working with clients to create extraordinary images that captures their amazing personality and style.

I spend free time with my beautiful wife and two young children. We enjoy taking long drives to the ocean or into the countryside in search of beautiful landscapes (with a camera, of course!). I am very passionate about several personal, photography related projects. The first is a urban portrait series called The Least of These, which highlights the issue of homelessness. Are you looking for something other than the standard, cardboard studio portraits for your family? Whether you are considering maternity portraits, images of your newborn baby or just want to update your family portrait; we love capturing creative images that make you smile. Portrait sessions can be scheduled to take place in our private studio or in a beautiful outdoor location. We love combining unique outdoor environments with beautiful portraits! Just let us know what you are looking for and we will make it happen

Pricing
Our family portraits sessions are $195. Sessions last up to two hours and include an unlimited number people, clothing changes and your choice of accessories!

You also receive (8) 4×6 prints, (8) 5×7 prints, (3) 8×10 prints and (1) 11×14 print. All of our photographs are professionally printed on archival quality paper and are guaranteed to last a lifetime. Additionally we include a secure web gallery to view and share your images and a disc containing email friendly images taken from the session so that you can send them to friends and family or share them on your MySpace or Facebook page (a disc of the high resolution images can be purchased separately).

UNCOMPROMISING IMAGE QUALITY
Every image is carefully and creatively hand processed. We take great care to make sure your family portraits look nothing short of amazing. Although we capture everything in vibrant color, we love processing duplicate versions of our favorite shots. This may include black and white, cyanotype, duotone, sepia and more! We can even give some of your images an analog, cinematic treatment reminiscent of old Hollywood movies. The best part is that you don’t have to give up the vibrant, color versions if you want to try something different. When we are finished, you will have over 200 images to choose from.

Our unique processing style and detailed image quality is what separates us from other portrait photographers. Just let us know what style you prefer and we will do everything we can to accommodate you!

SECURE ONLINE PROOFING
Our images are made available to you for viewing through a secure, easy-to-use proofing gallery. You will receive a passcode to access your images and are free to share it or keep it restricted to close friends and family. Check out our online proofing gallery showcasing a recent portrait session. Click over to the proofing page (here) and enter “family portraits” into the passcode box.

PAYMENT
We will send you an invoice by email a day or two before the portrait session. You are welcome to make payment securely online (here) or bring a check with you at the time of the portrait session. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.
