CONTEMPORARY : EVERGREEN ARBORETUM IN EVERETT
Tucked away in north Everett, the Evergreen Arboretum is a little known garden full of vibrant color. The arboretum offers a wide variety of seasonal backdrops for senior portraits including a small courtyard enclosed with a classic iron gate, a modern water feature, and several pieces of contemporary art. The Evergreen Arboretum has become one of our favorite places for senior portraits.
Bathrooms for Changing: There is a bathroom available for changing near the arboretum.
CONTEMPORARY : JENNINGS NATURE PARK IN MARYSVILLE
Surrounded by trails, wetlands and beautiful gardens, Jennings Nature Park is a 54-acre oasis for portraits. The upper portion of the park offers a large garden and dilapidated farm house. Lower Jennings Park has walking trails, wetlands, and a beautiful pond. Jennings Nature Park offers a great deal of variety making it the perfect spot for someone not sure what look they want for their portraits.
Bathrooms for Changing: There is a bathroom available for changing at Jennings Park.
CONTEMPORARY : GRAND AVENUE PARK IN EVERETT
Overlooking the Everett Marina and Navy Base, Grand Avenue Park is a beautiful location for senior portraits. The park parallels an historic row of stately homes in north Everett making it a unique location for senior portraits. This 5-acre park is filled with flower beds, beautiful old trees and a walking path. A nearby alley (within walking distance) allows high school seniors to go from contemporary to urban in just a few minutes. This is a great spot if you are looking for a variety.
Bathrooms for Changing: There are no bathrooms for changing at Grand Avenue Park; however you are welcome to change in your car.
CONTEMPORARY : ROSE HILL COMMUNITY CENTER IN MUKILTEO
Located in Old Town Mukilteo, Rose Hill Community Center is a gorgeous two story, 29,000-square-foot contemporary building overlooking the ferry docks and Puget Sound. Unique wood and stone textures along with a variety of colors can be found in just about every nook and cranny of this public space. If you live south of Everett, this is a pretty cool (and convenient) place for senior portraits!
Bathrooms for Changing: The bathrooms in the community center may be available if it’s open during your portrait session. There are several public restrooms available within walking distance and you are welcome to change in your car.
URBAN & CONTEMPORARY : EVERETT TRANSIT STATION
At the heart of the Everett Transit Station is a massive 64,000 square feet brick and steel building. Glass covers the east and west facing sides of the station allowing natural light to fill the three story space. An eclectic urban setting surrounds the station offering a variety of metropolitan backgrounds. Aside from the wonderful mix of urban and contemporary settings, many of the areas in and around the station are covered making it a safe location during inclement weather.

URBAN : DOWNTOWN EVERETT
Surround yourself with old brick, concrete, rust and urban decay in downtown Everett. We typically start the session in several alleys near the historic Everett Theater and eventually move behind a vintage saloon built at the turn of the 20th century. Our urban portrait session immerses you in classic architecture and grungy, city environments perfect for anyone looking for something unique and different!

URBAN : INDUSTRIAL EVERETT
Just east of downtown Everett is an industrial area perfect for high school seniors looking for a grungy, urban setting. Your session takes place in and around a beat up alley. Background elements include rusted corrugated metal, worn out wood textures and brick. Since the location is so dynamic, it is not unusual for there to be abandoned tires, old cars and other urban decay nearby. This is a fun place to work in!
Bathrooms for Changing: There are no easily accessible bathrooms for changing; however you are welcome to change in your car.
MODERN : COUNTY COURTHOUSE IN EVERETT
Located in downtown Everett, the Snohomish County Courthouse plaza is centered within an array of modern glass, concrete, cable and brushed steel architecture. The courtyard also includes a collection of contemporary art and a large wooden staging area used by local musicians. Several grungy alleys are located directly across the street from the courthouse providing clients with the option of adding an urban look to their senior portrait session.

DOWNTOWN SEATTLE – PIKE PLACE MARKET (Seattle portrait sessions usually scheduled at 10 AM)
Get ready for an amazing senior portrait experience! Pike Place Market is a one-of-a-kind place for unique urban portraits. We start the session in front of Pike Place Market and then move into historic Post Alley best known for the world famous Gum Wall. Downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market are packed full of energy and excitement! Senior portrait sessions at Pike Place Market are an additional $100. It comes with a high resolution disc of all the images (normally $100) and (16) additional wallet sized prints making this a fantastic deal! We can schedule your portrait session at a location of your choice or you are welcome pick one of our favorite places. We schedule portrait sessions on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – send us a couple possible dates that work best for you and we will schedule it!
